David Watkins is a writer living in Southampton, South England. His has just finished his
first novel Fat Land: Thin is In. Insides are Out, a satirical thriller about Body Fascism and
a wry look at how eating disorders have been manipulated to streamline a fashionable elite.

David became involved in the documentary during his time in San Francisco, when he
noticed a small advert pinned to a Castro notice board. He hopes that the film will make
many young men realize that they are not alone with their eating disorders. The film must
raise awareness and questions about the terrible image pressures prevalent in many gay
communities. David also hopes this films kick- starts a timely rebellion, when gay men of all
sizes finally dismiss an anti-fat, anti-femme culture run by body fascist fools who can only
look skin deep.
